Athens has bad BB; it's strange and sad. Saucehouse is by far the worst. Hot pans...really? Most expensive and worst BBQ I've ever had. Felt like I was ordering from my high school cafeteria. Do yourself a favor and go to Dawg Gone Good BBQ or drive to any road side BBQ joint 15 miles outside of town that'll blow all Athens BBQ joints out of the water.

I've eaten here twice and both times have been disappointed. while the service is decent, the food is subpar. Seems odd how every time I go there the owners Chris and chuck are always in the bar drinking and seem to be enjoying their million dollar playground then creating the dream I read about in flagpole.
However I was otherwise very impressed by the staff.
