I dropped by in the afternoon and tried the oxtails, which were delicious and served promptly. The simple decor and friendly server made for a pleasant experience. The takeout service seemed pretty busy, and the authentic Jamaican cuisine was seasoned just right and so flavorful!

Bad mistake! I thought I ordered from One Love Jamaican restaurant before, turns out I hadn't. It was the other Jamaican restaurant in Jesup who serves fresh food. I ordered oxtail tails over peas and rice (not fresh at all, seemed old), mac & cheese no flavor taste bland, cabbage was tough and very undercooked, plantain was delicious, but main dish...OXTAILS were overcooked, salty and dried-out, tough nasty nasty as if they sat around and was reheated, then reheated again! Just horrible. I also ordered their banana pudding. It tasted like overly sweetened "pudding from a can" added wafers and bananas its NOT homemade banana pudding. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING tasted good except the plantain. I wasted $30+ on oxtail dinner. SHAME ON YOU FOR serving it when everything was overcooked or undercooked just horrible.

I ordered a oxtail dinner with 2 sides, it cost $17.00 plus $2.00 extra for Shrimp mac and cheese as a side. I had the cabbage and shrimp mac and cheese. The food was very tasteful spices was flavorful! I only received 1 oxtail, with a tremendous amount of fat!!! And the rest (2) very small tiny pieces that was bones and fat. I know that oxtails are expensive. But for $17.00 I should receive 2-3 decent if not meaty size oxtails. I would have been satisfied with just 2 regular sizes as long as they had meat on them. Its not quantitative, its quality. At $20.00 dollars. I am very very disappointed. But the food Taste delicious.

It's the closest you can get to being on a tropical cruise in Jesup Ga. The food is awesome. I highly recommend the whole snapper and the jerked ribs. I love the empinadas.
