Since the local Shanes had closed, we decided to try "When Pigs Fly".
There were very few customers when we arrived around 12:30 pm.
From their website, under "Specials":
"Free Soda Fountain Drink
Enjoy a refreshing foutain soft drink OR Iced tea on us with purchase of a basket or combo meal.Tues-Thurs 11:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M Regular $3.00"
We went about 12:30 pm on Thursday and ordered two pulled pork meals. I asked if drinks were free and waitress said "no". I told her I must have missed something on the website because it said they would be free.
Obviously they don't even know what is on the website.
The pulled pork was ok, the brunswick stew tasted like canned tomato juice with a little added flavor. Fries were ok, but meal was way to expensive. About $34 for two lunches.
I'm giving a low rating because of advertising a special that they don't honor and the high cost of the meal. Our waitress didn't even check when I told her the website said drinks would be at no cost. We will never go there again.
