On the corner of Kalamazoo and Adams, I finally checked out 7 Mares after hearing good things. We parked easily and right away felt welcomed as we settled into a booth with a variety of hot sauces on the table. I started with a horchata and some oysters, and while I had a little trouble with the oysters, the chimichanga I ordered was super crispy with lots of guac, making me excited to come back for more!

Always excellent food and friendly service. Authentic Mexican food well prepared. If you go for lunch you may see lots of hungry work crews there too. Don't keep it a secret.
