Bought a loaf of honey wheat bread Monday. Was so good came back today Tuesday and got 4 more loaves. Looks like I'll be making a trip to the deli a couple times a week.

We stopped in while on a road trip. Such a marvelous place. We ordered a sandwich via the order forms sitting on the counter. The service was so quick that we had not finished exploring 1 aisle before our order was ready. We purchased a dog treat on our way out for our lab that was tied to a picnic table under 2 big shade trees. Our sandwich was delicious, packed with meat & cheese as well as the tasty condiments we ordered. The lab sent me back in for another treat. I purchased 2 loaves of homemade bread and had a nice conversation with the young man behind the counter. My husband found some ripe juicy plumbs in the adjoining fruit stand. What a wonderful place.

My experience this morning at BSD was less than desirable service from a younger male worker there.The gal behind the counter making coffee, sandwiches, dishing stuff up was pleasant, kept busy and provided good service. However, a fella came behind the counter and proceeded to tell me that he is on till duty but could help if I needed something else and shoved a paper to fill out my order on. I had only wanted some sliced ham and cheese. He then proceeded to go in the back and shoot the breeze with another fella back there. This is not the 1st time I have witnessed this while in there, including from the same fella. I am done supporting this deli. The sexism reeks.
