Wait staff are very friendly and courteous, great menu the food was excellent the plate was full every thing was hot and delicious. Had to wait for about 15 minutes to be seated it was full but well worth the wait.....6Stars

I've eaten there twice a few years ago. The food was great then and the waitress staff was very attentive and efficient. Food was good and hot. I am taking some family members to eat at Tides Inn seafood on April 2, 2022. I hope nothing has changed. Best place to eat seafood and a good location.

It was okay but not as good as it was in the years past the bill was about 25.00 but i had to pay 35.00 for 2 people i didn't think i will be going back.

The food was good but when i got home with my to go order the cole slaw had spilled out of the container & spilled all over my food. Ruined my meal.

After hearing about Tides, me and my wife decided to travel from Durham to this particular restaurant. Excellent wait staff I believe our waitress name was Amber.Very nice very personable. I asked her for a recommendation and she suggested salt and pepper flounder, which I must say was the best I've eaten in a long long time.My wife enjoyed the jumbo. We will definitely be back

Call ahead for prices. Don't go by their internet prices. My take out meal was almost six dollars more. I complained, but they said their Google prices were off. I brought a menu home. They said I should have gone to their web site. So I got home and did. Still off five bucks. Can't trust them. Calling ahead, get the price from them!

The food was fresh and hot, they really give you plenty to eat. The waitress was sweet and took great care of me. I would recommend them to everyone. I will definitely go there again soon!

Food isn't bad but it could be better. Waitresses are rude, they talk across the dining room to each other, not caring about the patrons. The decor is very outdated, drab and dirty looking, which does nothing for the appetite. If you pay with a credit or debit card you will be charged extra, suggestion, only pay with cash. We were getting the same meal each visit and each time the bill was different even though the menu price never went up. When our $24.00 meal totaled $30.00+ and they wouldn't explain why, we vowed to never to go back. Suggestion to owner: PLEASE CLEAN UP THE PLACE AND REDECORATE!! GIVE YOUR WAITRESSES TRAINING IN HOW TO ACT WHILE WORKING AND BE FAIR IN YOUR PRICING.

I had the pleasure of eating at Tides In back in September of 2013,while attending a convention in Greensboro and only one word can describe my experience, heaven. The food was soooo good, I went back the following day with a friend, to have lunch. The seafood was well seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. I even tried the peach cobbler, and it was delicious. I only wish you had a location in Durham. Whenever, I come to Greensboro, I will be eating at Tides Inn.

my husband had me a birthday celebration at tide in, and it was wonderful!!!!!
the waitress Rhonda and Dee was great, could not had ask for better service. the food was hot and excellent, hat off to the cooks, everything about this night was great. i just wont to say thanks for still having a restaurant that give great service..(they also have a banquet room for a big event)
