Today, I enjoyed a delicious Cherry Pie that brought back fond memories of my childhood at Tryon Street Elementary, where my aunt and the cafeteria staff would make it. The restaurant consistently offers good food at reasonable prices, and I especially love their vegetable beef soup and daily menu changes, making it a comforting choice as the weather cools down.

Today, I tried the Cherry Pie at the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. It brought back memories of my time at Tryon Street Elementary, where my aunt and the cafeteria staff would make a similar pie, always adding extra crust for me. I savored each bite slowly, as the pie was incredibly gooey and satisfying. The experience reminded me of the comfort and joy that good food can bring, and I look forward to returning to the restaurant for more tasty meals in the future.

Great cube steak/gravy. Salads good. Ranch dressing oh my. Disappointed any fried food/chicken all cooked in the same oil that shrimp was cooked in. I'm allergic to any shellfish. Bummer. 😞

Found this jewel a couple years ago and it's my go to for catfish whole or filets. Best I have ever had. Everything I have tried is very good. Service is great! ðŸ‘

I've never been disappointed about a meal that I've eaten from South House. The only reason I don't eat at your restaurant more often is I'm trying to keep my weight down to keep from buying new clothes 😅

My family has been coming here for longer than I can think of. The food is AWAYS delicious and hot. I live in Louisville,Kentucky now but get here every time I am in Greer.

We found this place not long after moving to Duncan less than a year ago! We enjoy every time that we go here, and have never been disappointed in any way! This is down home comfort without the frills! The food is excellent, the staff friendly, and awesome prices have us visiting once or twice a week! Relax, go casual, and enjoy the secrets of the South House! You'll be glad that you did!

This is a meat and 3 veggies kind of place. This is why I go there. Want something close to home cooking and this fits the bill. Prices are reasonable and food is plentiful. Love the tea and cornbread. If you looking for fancy or bistro type atmosphere - not here. This is good old family style eating and atmosphere. Babies and large families are always welcome. Just sent my hubbie to pick up takeout.
