I visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning and was impressed by the delicious chips and salsa. The food overall was tasty, though one dish, likely the rice, had too much salt for my taste. Despite the need for a remodel, the friendly service and flavorful dishes make me eager to return, especially for the fiesta burrito and casa tacos.

This place has really come a long way. They have been in downtown Brandon for over 30 years and still have the best chips and salsa. I know Alex (senior) retired but he did a good job by letting Alex (JR) and his wife Stephanie take on the restaurant they are doing big things here. Highly recommend.

Absolutely awesome Mexican food-the best I have ever had! The restaurant itself is not fancy by any stretch of the imagination, and please don't go if you want to have a "nice" meal in a "nice" setting. However, if you want to chow down on some authentic, scrumptious, lip-smacking, slap your mama Mexican food, this is the place for you! Their tortilla chips are awesome too-flavored like no others I have ever tasted. As far as entrees', I recommend the beef chimichanga-umm,umm, good!
