08/12/2013 - Highly Disappointed!!!
Very uninviting, impersonal, not accommodating at ALL! Paid 30 dollars for lunch and got a 10 dollar meal. My husband and I went there to eat. As we walked in, there wasn't any greeting from the wait staff. They asked us what we wanted to order, I really wanted an omelette. When I asked for one, I was told breakfast was over and they couldn't serve it after their stated time which was 10 min prior to me asking. They didn't even take the time to go ask the kitchen staff if they could accommodate my request. So, I the ordered the Liver and onions instead which they claimed to be on special, the only thing special was that I didn't receive a side salad for $1 difference. When I received my order, the liver wasn't cooked to my specifications, I asked for corn and received 2 day old green beans, and the mashed potatoes were boxed instead of homemade. They have signs all around stating "Good Down Home Cooking", I really think I should talk to the proper people about false advertising!!! Also, our waitress didn't seem to know what came on the menu. My husband ordered a fish and shrimp plate, which it was good except' under cooked fries, when he asked how many fish and shrimp came on it, she had to ask because she didn't know. We only received one visit back at the table when they delivered our food. We wasn't even asked if we wanted refills on our drinks, asked if we wanted desert, or to bring us our check. Very bad and ugly experience, I nor any other of my family members will be returning in the future. I get better service at the local Waffle House!!! Sincerely, The Byais Family!!!
