The food is mediocre at best, but their staff is not able to take an order correctly over the phone, and their manager is very rude. They've lost their special place in my heart.

My broiled flounder had no taste or texture it was mushy. I was very disappointed.

What has happened to the food quality of McElroy's (both the Ocean Springs and Biloxi locations)???? I used to buy the gumbo by the quart because it was so good. The price has gone up and the quality has gone down. The fried shrimp wasn't much better. I guess this restaurant is only interested in the tourist trade and doesn't care if they lose a local customer who used to come there every couple of weeks. What a shame. We will be taking our business elsewhere. The only really positive thing to say is that Kevin P. is a fantastic server.
