the service I received was absolutely awful being that Rip always bragging about his 'Bistro' - this might be an isolated incident but it was bad - I only dealt with the restaurant once and it was absolutely good - the chef has made homemade mac n cheese which was so good it left this yarning to get it again but I stay in Biloxi I couldn't get there - then he made steamed or sautí©ed veggies (which I'm not a vegetable eater) but I gobble that up to I can't even remember the protein I had because I just wanted the Mac/cheese and veggies - then you couldn't get your leftovers to go that they don't do that - hopefully they've changed that cause who does that you can't take your leftovers but the young lady server was very gracious and let us take it anyway - well yesterday I ordered that 'Mac n cheese' plus mixed vegetables to go - the young guy that I was transferred to talk with was Michael which I know Rip has a son named Michael - he had a bad day yesterday dealing with me and my order - couldn't understand me but he just was paying attention or something he seemed preoccupied- then the young lady that answered the phone in the beginning said the chef that was there then was gone because people complained then she snapped me on hold and that was not what I was gonna said - that chef was excellent- that food was exceptional- and they need to get him back - he was a big guy but my brothers wanted to meet him and they told him how delicious his food was and I know my brothers left him a substantial tip cause that's who they are - one was down from Alaska visiting and he was as we all were so pleased - that dude threw down - I hate it that he's not there anymore - maybe y'all ought to find him and hire him back as chief chef -

For Mother's day my family decided to order from the Almanett restaurant. We chose the wrong. place. We ordered the Sunday meal for four. We got four leg quarters that were cooked with an abundance of seasoning on the outside skin which made it almost inedible. We got 2 small cups of runny potato salad and 2 cups of baked beans. What happened to the other salad and beans? The cake was not homemade. 4 little small pieces of store bought cake. It was not worth our money at all. So disappointed!! We won't order from there again. Sorry!😞

The food was supposed to be for a family of 4. We got sides for 2 and 4 small slices of cake. The chicken had too much seasoning (not good), Would not recommend this meal!
