I have been a restaurant owner for the majority of my career, over 30 yrs. In that time frame, I have only been served spoiled food once. Today makes twice. China Cafe not only served spoiled/rotten food to me, but refused to refund me the money that I spent on the items that most DEFINITELY had rotten meat in it. They stated that it was the curry in the dish that gave it a rotten taste. For those that don't know, curry has a beautiful Smokey aroma and is widely used in Indian cuisine. I use it often at my house in dishes. It does NOT have any sort of stench to the flavor nor bad smell. It is absolutely appalling to find out that there are restaurants in existence that refuses refunds on food that has a odor and taste of rotted meat. I ordered the Singapore noodles (2 orders) and both were spoiled. My daughter only smelled it and refused to eat it. I needed to taste it to make sure what I was smelling was indeed rotten food. I immediately spit it out. Rotted food has an unmistakable distinct "taste". Not only do I not recommend this place but their business ethics are deplorable. Refusing a refund. Below is a picture of the food that ended up in the trash. I do not recommend this place. At all. This is a serious "buyer beware". There are various places in the area that serve quality Chinese cuisine. This is definitely not one, at all. Another reviewer on a different site stated they contracted food poisoning from this place, TWICE.
