Have lived in the area for 20+years and have been going to this restaurant for most of those years. Me and the wife decided to call in for togo. I called and the phone immediately was picked up and no one said anything so I said "hello" and click the person hung up. Then the phone was off of the hook for 10 minutes so after waiting 15 minutes I called back and the same thing happened. We love spending our money locally but not when this sh-t happens. Shady Glen needs to step up with who they hire, as it is they had to close the parkade location and honestly will probably have to close the main location because of who they choose to employe. It used to be a wonderful place with awesome servers now it's gone to sh-t. Might as well go get treated like that at a place that a burger isn't 20 bucks.

Our waitress had a nasty attitude and treated us like insects. We waited for over an hour for our food which was merely a grilled cheese and a burger. When I asked about the delay the waitress, with more attitude, listed all the problems the restaurant was having and talked to me like I had some nerve asking and a second waitress joined in lecturing us on all the problems they had to put up with and we will get our food when it's ready. After lunch we ordered ice cream to go which turned out to a little bit in a cup. The waitress held the bag up above counter so she could let it drop and then without a word walked away. It was definitely not a fun experience and we won't return.

Too pricey for what you get. Has gone down hill over the years and Its way down there now. The burger always has an odd after taste and they changed the roll so its more dry bread than burger. Dirty, very dirty. Used to be very clean enthusiastic staff, just bad atmosphere overall. The manager hardly ever comes in, he monitors everything at home on computers. Lazzzzy., and it shows. The ice cream is soso. the chocolate lacks flavor more like milky chocolate. oh well, good luck. We're over it.

They leave their phone off the hook and never pick it up because their lazy staff doesn't want to do the job they're paid to do. Horrible people horrible staff, they clearly don't want any business because their staff makes zero effort to actually serve people. Awful awful awful awful awful. Pick up your f-ck-ng phone you idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw the burger on a tv show so I went with my family. It's a nice atmosphere and the service is good. The burger with the crunchy cheese folded on it is good but not great. Fries are ok but I would recommend the onion rings. The real reason I gave it 4 stars is because the ice cream was so ridiculously good. The sundae was unreal and I can't stop thinking about it.

Been going since the 70s! Best cheeseburger!!! Best pumpkin ice cream!!!! Very clean, can be very busy. Worth the wait!!!!!

The burgers were VERY expensive and not worth the price. More CHEESE than meat so you're actually paying for CHEESE in the range of 10-$15.00. Be very careful what you order or you'll end up emptying your wallet or purse.
