Nastiest Chinese food I ever had!!! I ordered general Tsos chicken and it was dry as ever!!! Driest general chicken I EVER had!!! Won't be going there EVER again!! Lost a customer here!

I heard from a friend that this place was good so I ordered tonight for the first time. I received my meal and found not one, but two, small black hairs in my white rice. I decided to call to ask for a new meal, and no one apologized. I asked for a refund so they did come 45 minutes later and made me bring out my meal and the hair, which I showed them to receive my $7 dollars back- not including the tip! I will NEVER go there again. Terrible service and hair in the food!

best Chinese food around, never lets me down and the people there are nice as well. the food is of great value and taste is much better than other restaurants alike.

If you are going to order Chinese take-out anywhere in the Hartford area, this is the only place you need to go!
I am a regular at Jackie Chen, and their food is very authentic Chinese, and they do not skimp on anything on their menu. They also have special items like Salt and Pepper Shrimp (my favorite) that you CANNOT get anywhere in the area. The service is top-notch, and they are very courteous. I gave the "Atmosphere" a 1 rating, because it is a take-out place with only a few seats, but I go there for the quality and value! See for yourself!
