The previous post and criticism is unfair. The furnace was undergoing replacement at that time, with complications, took almost a week. It was quite a strain on the staff.

The poster was clearly in the wrong and totally out of line to have the nerve and aggression to try to change the thermostat themselves, regardless of the explanation or how it was made. One would not run into the kitchen and grab equipment if they were dissatisfied with the food.

Szechuan Tokyo features a fine menu of Chinese and Japanese, and Sushi is a specialty.
In addition, on Thursdays, Fridays and selected Sundays, Szechaun-Tokyo features fine live jazz entertainment. Quite a unique establishment.

The heat is now fixed, the entertainment continues to be great, and we are still enjoying our favorite meals from both menus. I have no interest in this restaurant other than just appreciative customers. Check out the entertainment roster and the menu: http://www.asianfusion.net/

01/02/2008 - unfairly treated customer
I took my family to this restaurant for lunch on new year eve to celebrate new year. After we walked in and sat on a booth, my Mom and I felt cold. I noticed that the therometer on the wall shown 58 degree. So I asked the female owner:"Could you turn on the heater? It is cold here." She anserwed me:"The engineer just fixed the heater. You can talk to my engineer." I did not know who was her engineer. So I walked back to our table. Since therometer was close to our table, I pushed the up arrow and tried to adjust the temperature myself. Suddenly a waiter rushed to me and yelled at me:"Don't tough that. It is for air conditioner." I immediately stopped touching. The female owner followed the waiter and shouted to us:"If you feel cold, you can just leave." She asked her husband to escott us out. I have been US for more than 13 years and never been treated so rudly like this before. This is the worst restaurant I had ever been in term of their custmor service. I will not walked into that restaurant again but want to share my experience with you. So you have warning that they may treat you the same.
