We stop at the Cracker Barrel in Hattiesburg quite often traveling to/from the Ms Coast.
Yesterday I was disappointed in the food quality, service & the cost or the way it was handled.
It was mid afternoon so decided to order breakfast. I wanted to exchange for grits & was told that would be charged out extra to exchange. You mean grits is a higher cost than hash brown potato casserole! I don't think so!! Then when my food was served & after the waitress had already left the table I noticed my sausage was not on the plate. By the time she came back by I did not want to wait on the sausage to be cooked while my other food was getting cold so I just ask her not to charge out the grits in exchange for not getting the meat. Well that did not happen. Also the egg in the basket tasted like it had been fried in old butter or something. So I paid $10.99 for two egg in a basket & a small bowl of grits which I could not eat due to the taste. I hope this doesn't happen again cause I don't give restaurants too many chances to disappoint.
