12/12/2013 - fattymoko
This restaurant is located in a "dive-y" strip mall in a depressed part of town. But brave up a little or even hook up with a local and go. This place has self grilled meats, the most delicious side dishes, thick and spicy tofu stews, cold vinegary noodles and many assortments of mainstream and hardcore Korean food. It is utterly delicious and you can eat like a prince for $20.00. Nearby Chinese and Japanese restaurants are a "do" but Han Yang is a "MUST DO." I go whenever I can afford to. Their take out plates are very generous as well. But for the true flavor of the place, eat in. The owner is helpful in explaining the dishes, and the grilled meats dinner is all you can eat. Plate after plate of different cuts of meat. Do the kal bi and ask for sesame/salt to dip your meats in. They will also give you hot peppers and raw garlic should you want to go "native." You won't regret going!
