This place is a down-home, nothing fancy restaurant with really good food, plenty of it and a very affordable price. I've been there twice now and was greeted with efficient service, courteous service and helpful attitudes. I take my friends there because it's a nice place to gather. I'd rcommend it to anyone.

This restaurant has been in Helena a long time and I haven't been to it recently, until last night when I attended their evening buffet. I was very, very impressed. Spicy clams, crab legs, three shrimp dishes and some Thai plates that were outstanding--all for twelve bucks. Best deal in town. and oh so tasty. I think I'll show up more often. It's definitely worth the stop.

I had not been to the L&D for a long time, so thought I'd pop in and give it a try. Wow, was I surprised. The buffet has many new items and they are really, really tasty. I like the waitress too, very polite and attentive. I gave her a big tip because she deserved it. the prices are about the same. I got lunch for under ten bucks, hard to do these days. I will go back t try their evening buffet too. I hear it's outstanding.

What a really nice place to eat. The staff is very helpful and attentive, the food is delicious and plentiful, the facilities are clean and the music is contemporary...who could ask for more?
