We wanted to try this restaurant because people keep talking about it and I wish we wouldn't have wasted our time. When we arrived they told us it would be 25-30 min wait for a table for two so we decided to wait"¦AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER they finally call our name to seat us and when we got to the host he said I just want to let you know the kitchen is backed up so it will be about 50 mins before you get your food. Why was this not told to us before we waited an hour and a half in the lobby to get a table? Then I called and asked to speak with the manager about what happened and they hung up on me so I called back and she said I hung up because the manager can't get to the phone until 4pm an hour after the restaurant closes. I asked them to take my name and number and give me a call at his earliest convenience and she said I can't guarantee he will return your call and said I don't have to serve you and hung up the phone. So sad a small local business has such HORRIBLE customer service.

my wife and I went to this cafe expecting to have decent meal. they did not have a real meal all they had were sandwiches, so we ordered the steak tips and cheese with a salad the sandwich had no flavor at all and the salad taste like they had cut the lawn and served it to us. will never go there again!

Ordered a half order of biscuits and sausage gravy plus two eggs over medium. Biscuits were hard as a rock, gravy was reheated from second day. Very bad.

Please note the 2 star reviews were in 2014 and the 4 stars are 2015.They have made some good changes that we really enjoy. This is a great place to eat away from all the tourist filled restaurants along Bay St. Something for every taste and not fast food so you get what you pay for and then some with the creative menu. We love it!

The food was presented well but it was very difficult to ignore the smell. It didn't smell clean. It needed a good sterile clean with warm water and bleach. I will not eat there again because it made me question their cleanliness.

Stopped there while on the way to Parris Island Graduation Day for breakfast sandwiches. Sandwiches were good, but the price was way out of line and had I been thinking correctly rather than stressing getting to the base on time I would never had paid $27.00 for 3 ordinary breakfast sandwiches. Food may be good but surly not worth the cost. Wouldn't recommend and certainly would not ever go there again.
