Dine with a view at Vu, one of the next-generation Jersey City restaurants. Steak and fish are specialties of the house. Your exceptional experience will be capped off with panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty. After dining at one of the most spectacular restaurants in Jersey City, enjoy a cocktail at Vu Lounge, a 75-seat bar with a beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty. Sip a martini or one of their exceptional wines while enjoying the activity of New York Harbor as Lady Liberty keeps watch.

The breakfast buffet at Vu in the Hyatt Regency Jersey City exceeded my expectations for a morning meal in the NYC area, offering a variety of delicious options at a reasonable price. The highlight of the experience was the stunning view of the water and Manhattan skyline, providing a serene backdrop for a relaxing meal. While some dishes fell short in terms of taste and preparation, the overall experience was enjoyable enough to warrant a return visit when in the mood for a satisfying breakfast with a view.

The view is fantastic, but I recommend enjoying it over a cocktail instead of going there for a meal. The food is poorly prepared, and they skimp on any ingredients that cost a little more (avocado, berries, etc.), even though their prices are high. And if you are a vegetarian, be warned: they do not even offer a meat-free salad! The service is pleasant, but you could find better food for a fraction of the price at the average diner.

It's all about the views here. Food is passable, service is soliticious. Cheaper than NYC prices but don't expect haute cuisine. Only major complaint is the menu is not the same as any online.
