Just went here today. I was looking for some pupusas, plantains, curtido, and yucca. I ended up getting the Special A and Special B for my son and I. The specials have either fried yucca or plantains, a tamal (chicken or corn) and 2 pupusas. I'm not sure which pupusas is which. I believe I ordered 1 bean/cheese, 1 lorocro, 1 reveltas, and 1 cheese. Both tamals were chicken. I love curtido, don't ask me why.
I live by UH and usually go to a place on Telephone south of 610. This place is on Telephone is the east end. I felt it was closer and I would give it a try. I think it is good and will be a fast place to get my pupusa fix.
The menu that is shown on this website may be out-dated or prices may have risen because of COVID but I was charged more than $7.25 a plate but it was still a good deal for a nice amount of food.
P.S.: I'm a white girl but I do speak Spanish. It was a must for ordering over the phone para llavar. Also, if you are worried about COVID, the staff in the restaurant had masks on but none of the patrons did. ENJOY!
