Having grown up in Old River, I always enjoy the generous portions and delicious home-cooked meals at Lercy's Diner, where the chicken fried steak with collard greens, green beans, and steamed rice is a must-try, complemented by friendly service and a cozy hometown atmosphere.

The food is always delicious. Large portion when your really hungry you will be satisfied!! Love their sweet tea! Staff is always kind and quick with a smile. Can you tell I just love this place!!

I ate at Lercy's south location,Baytown-Bayway Dr, yesterday.
I had heard of it, but had never been there. It is on the line of a cafeteria. I had chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans $ bread pudding. It was fantastic!! (The portions are large, so ask for the 1/2 portion.) To top off the experience, I'm Texas A&M grad, so I got to sign the wall. Whoop!! I would give this place a score of 10, but 5 stars will have to do.
