Good Food

This place was so beautiful on the INSIDE but I was soooooo disappointed. Took my wife here for her birthday and it was a let down for sure. The outside of the building is confusing because it doesn’t look like a restaurant nor does it look open. There is a hospital medical group above the restaurant and if you make reservations at 5 you will see the employees leaving the building. Once you walk into the building there is a mixture of elegance and combined with glaring problems. One being the hard seats and also the front desk desperately needs some tinder loving care. Now once your waiter comes and greets you they will walk you to the main dining area. Now the main dining hall is truly beautiful. They have an awesome design and it makes you forget about the outside and reception area (reception area is not bad just needs a few adjustments). Once you’re handed the menu THATS WHEN THE PROBLEMS START. The menu is EXTREMELY LIMITED! And there was an item on the limited menu that was discontinued which was also a bummer. The food was an extreme let down in the taste/ flavor department as well as the portion size department FOR THEIR PRICE! We tried the lobster. Macaroni egg rolls which had a few lobster bite size pieces in a sauce that the 2 egg rolls (both Sliced in half to look like 4) sweet placed on. The egg roll itself is filled with Mac & cheese but the lobster is practically NON-EXISTENT. The egg rolls tasted ok at best and the sauce was pretty good but there was literally about 4 tiny nibble size pieces of lobster in the sauce ….. The Cost was $18. My wife ordered the Cajun linguine pasta which cost $22.00 with no meat and you add the meat of your choice for an additional cost. She decided she wanted the grilled shrimp which is an additional $12.00. When she received her pasta they gave her 3 PIECES OF SHRIMP. I ordered the pineapple Thai wings. When my plate arrived there were 8 jerk style wings (Drummetes) covered in a semi bland sauce and pineapples that tasted like they came out of a can. The wings tasted like the frozen Tyson wings you get from your local Kroger’s or HEB. This was $18.00. I only made it through 4 of them and was to disappointed to continue eating. The Mac and cheese side dish we ordered were ok and the fries we ordered was also ok but the flavor and quality in the dishes was simply not there. In Total we spent $154.00 which included the 18% gratuity for the waiter (who did a great job serving) on food that was clearly NOT WORTH HALF OF THAT! This restaurant hides unfair pricing behind ambiance (and that’s if you’re overlooking the the problems that you see). It’s like when you see something is off but you overlook it because you’re trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Why charge people quality prices for quality that’s NON-EXISTENT!!! Never again. If you want to go and drink then this maybe a great place to go but if you’re going for the food please drive to Olive Garden or chili’s where the food will have more quality then this fake upscale restaurant at 1/3 the price. Whataburger tasted better than this place and they cost $10.00 for the entire meal! Lol I’m so disappointed with this place. I don’t mind spending money on quality but this my friends is Highway Robbery without a gun…. Another group in search of a David Ruffin… Heck ALVIN WITHOUT THE CHIPMUNKS!!! Lol Go at your own risk.

They obviously have first time hospitality staff working here. From management to the maintenance worker's. The restaurant is beautiful but it's a shame no one has any clear direction on how to effectively run this establishment. For whatever reason they do not answer their telephone during business hours, nor do they respond to event emails.

I had an amazing experience! I follow the restaurant on Instagram and became enamored with the pictures of the food, drinks and decor of the establishment. I planned my Birthday Trip from Wisconsin just to visit the restaurant as a gift to myself and I was not disappointed! The immaculate service and details made my experience feel extra special. I felt like a V.I.P. and on top of that it was the day of the play offs (Bucks vs Rockets) We Won & I was still treated Beautifully, lol! My Birthday Felt Very Very Special From My Experience there. Word of advice...Reservations are key! I made mine months in advance but I felt very prepared for even before I arrived. Staff was very professional & on point!

Listen, I don’t know what’s going on but I thought I was going to EAT eat. The food was either way too salty or had no salt. I wouldn’t go back. The place is beautiful. The food looks amazing in pictures but we were highly disappointed. I went home and ate after almost $300 spent.

Service is really really slow you go to a restaurant to eat and so to wait 3-4 hours to eat at a restaurant is ridiculous and a headache. I went there for brunch and as you know first come first serve I was one of the first people in the door and people with smaller parties that maybe arrived an hour after me continued to be seated and so I was about to settle for two small tables because it was 7 people apart of my party when we walked in there were few tables that could accompany my size party and I told the host we could fit right there after waiting an hour to be seated and he said he did not see that spot mind you the place was quite empty after you leave the waiting area. After sitting it took maybe 20 mins to get drinks keep in mind I was there from before they opened 10:40 and was seated at almost exactly 12 I ordered food at maybe 12:25 and did not eat until almost 2 the French toast came out first which was my meal and because the meals did not come out at the same time the whole party looked at my food just to have a taste because obviously you come to a restaurant hungry and so they wanted some when some of my parties food came out it was cold imagine waiting 3 hours for cold food you wouldn’t even want to send it back but they did. Overall it was not an enjoyable time we sat down miserable I had a headache the entire time because I was so hungry the inside is beautiful but this is place you just need to visit once. The most they could do is serve a complimentary appetizer like during brunch bring out crossaints and during dinner bring some type of bread because you can’t enjoy yourself if you’re hungry. I suggest you eat before going there

The restaurant opened in Houston on 3/4/2021. I'm not sure why this place have bad reviews before it was open to the public.
Food is delicious. I wish they had more vegan options.
FYI: Whole chicken isn't on their menu. The greens are my favorite.

Had the whole fried chicken it was a little raw on the breast and a little too salty. Everything salty. Hope it’s better when it opens. The Mac was good. That’s it out of 8 plates I tasted.

First course was excellent however the main dish was really a disappointment. Dessert left a bad taste in my mouth and couldn’t wait to leave town.
