Service is horrible..manager should be fired..we were regular customers until today..telling ALL PEOPLE IN DEER PARK AND PASADENA..STAY AWAY!!!

My wife and I were looking for a different Mexican Restaurant last Saturday evening and happened by Dona Chela in which the parking lot was full. We went inside and there were not many patrons except for a private party room. We were immediately seated and promptly waited on. The Service was exceptional as well as the menu selection. The hot chips and hot salsa were very good. My wife ordered the Sauza enchiladas and I had the chicken fajita salad in which both were terrific. We will be coming back!!!

If you don't specify chicken fajita, KAREN, then you'll get shredded chicken. Maybe you didn't pronounce it right. it's "Chee Leh Ray Eh No". How are you going to give a bad review on something that's clearly your fault. Did you even taste the food? Clearly your husband didn't have an issue as he ate all of his. I'm calling BS.

I've never had a bad experience here. the food is always fresh and delicious. Service is spectacular and it's one of my favorite places, hands down.

Brint and I are regulars here. This place has the best food and friendly waitstaff! Always enjoy our visits here.

Worst place ever!!! when waiter was taking order He asked me 3 times to repeat my order and then said can you show me on the menu? I don't know what that is. I ordered Chile Relleno with cheese and chicken fajita and he repeated back 2 times, turned the order in to the kitchen and came back again and ask what kind of chicken I wanted and of course when my plate came out it was shredded chicken. My husband had finished his meal before we could find the waiter and I told him my dinner was not what I ordered and I showed him the shredded chicken and he ask me what was wrong with. I had to explain the difference between shredded and fajita. Took it back to the kitchen and when he returned with correct order it stunk , smelled and tasted like gritty dirt, brought it home for the dog and he wouldn't eat it.
