Backdraft BBQ is an absolute treasure with its homemade, fresh food and friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The chicken fried steak here is a must-try; it's thick, tender, and perfectly crispy every time. Even though I live in League City now, I still make the trip just for the amazing staff and their incredible barbecue.

They allow customers to smoke in the restaurant. Decent food decent price decent service but I do not want to smell a cigarette while I'm eating. I will not be back.

Ordered for carry out. My husband ordered the Sampler Platter, my daughter got a Chopped BBQ Baked Potato and I got a Grilled Chicken Salad. My daughter's potato was not done and she was only able to eat half of it. My salad had no dressing with it. In one of our bags was what looked to be trash with jalapeño slices on it.
I called to let them know and the girl I talked to was very rude. When I told her I thought the least she could do is be nice to me, she said she had four people call in sick. She did offer me a free meal with my next purchase. I do not plan to take her up on that deal. I'll take my money where it is appreciated. Anyone can overlook an item on a customers order or not cook a potato completely. It happens. But ALWAYS be nice to your customers.
I will say my husbands order was okay.
