I recently moved to the Rathdrum area and a coworker told me about Giorgi's as the place to go for breakfast. Saturday morning 10:30 am parking lot was very full, looked like a favorite restaurant. A few empty tables but business was bustling. My adult daughter and I ordered breakfast. I ordered the "Lumberjack" and chose Pancakes, bacon and eggs. My daughter ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. It took over 30 minutes to get our food after ordering, in spite of three other later groups being served before us. There was a lot of food served to us that required multiple plates. I got two giant 9 inch pancakes, and I love pancakes, I've been eating them over 60 years. These pancakes were one and a half inch thick in the middle. The pancakes were undercooked and I could only eat the outside edge. When the waitress asked how the meal was I told her the pancakes were too thick in the middle and undercooked. She offered to have more cooked, but I declined as I just wanted them to know they were improperly cooked. She did mention that she would tell the cook who was the owner to "quit doing that, again". So for a business that only serves breakfast and lunch I'm surprised by an owner who can't cook a proper pancake. I left $25 on the table for the two meals and I'll not return nor recommend the establishment
