I wish I could do -5 stars.
What a horrible place.
Food - awful. Ordered medium-well filet mignon and got super well done piece of rubber.
Lamb chops were just OK, definitely not worth the money they are charging.
Now the interesting part:
We returned the filet meal because it was awful. Waitress asked if they can make it up somehow, but at that point after waiting for our food for over an hour we just wanted to get out. We said nothing, but if manager wanted to do something nice for us he could take care of the wine, but we did not demand that, just a suggestion.
Few min later the manager and the cook come to our table getting all defensive that we didn't like their rubber steak and handed us the check and did NOT take off the awful filet we returned to them off the bill.
When I asked why are they charging us for the meal we returned manager said "there's nothing wrong with it".
At that point I was done and very frustrated with the whole experience and started telling him that what he is doing is wrong.
This is where the interesting part started.
The manager told me to shut the F up and that he is going to knock my teeth out. Wow! What a great service.
He was more worried for other people not to hear how awful their food is to the point that he was willing to threaten a customer with a violence instead of just accepting the fact that the food was not good. So basically it was "pay or get beat up". And the worst part is that even if we called cops it would be "he said she said", so I just let them rob me. I did not authorize them to charge my card, they simply did it holding me hostage under a threat.
Then only good thing about this place was the waiter - very sweet and kind and worked really hard to provide great service.
Anyways, if you are ok paying high price for subpar food, and like getting ripped off, threatened and kicked out for telling that your experience was not good - be my guest. Otherwise take your business somewhere else.
Barbacoa will get you steak that will melt in your mouth and a service that will wow you for same money.
