Huntley Dairy Mart has that old-school vibe with a touch of nostalgia that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. It's a popular hangout, especially in the warm weather, perfect for those summer days. I tried their soft serve vanilla ice cream cone with cherry dip, but wasn't a fan of the texture. Despite that, the variety of dessert and food options on the menu is pretty good.

Have been going to Huntley Dairy Mart since the 60s. Can honestly say never had a bad experience until recently. The food was cold and greasy - well except for the shake, that was melted and disgusting. AND to top it all off it was over $30 for this horrible food that would have cost us under $20 with the previous owner, Mr. Grechis. Will not be returning but will be telling all our friends. Why aren't prices posted? Should not have messed with this iconic business!

I've been going to the Dairy Mart since 1986 love the burgers, beef, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, seasoning fries and the ice cream, I also use get a fish fry dinner every Fridays! We always go there instead McDonald's who needs them!

Prices shown on menu are apparently 25% less than what is shown on these menus. Haddock family meal is shown as $31.95, ordered 9/1 and charged $43. That is a HUGE price increase much more so than inflation by an order of 2X plus

We placed an order for all most $100.00. We were missing many item when I called was told I could either drive back for missing items which we did not want to do. If I wanted credit we would have to bring back all the food to prove we were missing things. This was absolutely ridiculous they should have issued credit we will not be back.

Great food. In fact, probably the best Haddock in the Mid-West. If you like "Fish and Chips" you are in for a great surprise. It's as good as it gets! I've been told that the breading is an original of the owner. If that is true, he's a genius. I drive a long way to get Haddock at Dairy Mart and usually eat it there. . . BUT if you order this "to go" DO NOT try any of the Haddock on the way home, you will end up eating most of it, if not all of it, before you get back. The only draw back at DM is the parking lot. It is a bit tiny. But it's worth parking a street away and walking to order your food. You-know-who, is across the street and I have never eaten there ever.

Every time we go here for ice cream they always mess up our order. We ask for no nuts and they always put them on the ice cream every time! We end up throwing the ice cream away! Waste of our money! Don't bother going there!!

It's an old-fashioned roadside diner from way back when. It's fun to eat there or have a great tasting frozen custard. And it thrives even though it is across the road from a fast food place. The hamburgers , Italian Beef and fries are great. The prices are very reasonable. What more can you ask for? Parking is a bit of a challenge since they widened IL 47. But don't let that stop you.
