My Brother who is a Truck Driver frequents Iron Skillet at the Petro in Rochelle, IL, and for my birthday purchased me a $40 gift card to the Iron Skillet. My Husband, and I were served . The $14.99 Salmon that we ordered was dry, and not very good, but the meal was free so did not complain. The server said she would take the payment and we paid with the $40 gift card. According to the server the gift card would not scan and the 19 digit gift card number was too long when she tried to enter it manual, and we asked if called the number on the back of the card, and she said no as it is not her job. I called the number on back of the card 1-855-845-7786, got the balance of the card of $40 and spoke with a customer service rep. who said their gift cards are 19 digits long, and the server just has to key the number in if the card is not scanning, and if she is having an issue to call the gift card help desk customer service. The server said she did not have the number, and got the manager who did not have the number, and both refused to assist so we had to pay by other means for the Birthday present. They said we would have to come back in and se another person to get our money back, all because they refused to make a call. I suggested that they take the valid $40 gift card, and give us a new gift card, keeping the money on the card, and work it out when the other person was in. We are now out $40 because we had to pay for the horrible meal that we were not even asked if we enjoyed it. The phone number was on the back of the card the whole time, and the $14.99 food was dry/burnt - $40 bucks gets you one trip to salad bar
