Go to Damian's in East Moline or when in Omaha they have Jim's there also. Much more customer friendly and fresh ribs. When I am back there from Az I always got Jim's but over the years they have slid down the rating chart .

The quality of ribs has really deteriorated from the beginning on the one way. Ribs taste like they are baked or boiled. You don't get the aroma of grilled meat even at the front door. Sad sad for the originator. Disgrace to the name. R.I.P.Big Jim

I grew up eating Jim rib haven after I came from the south at that time I traveled all over united states and found them to be one of the best
There service has became a hole in the wall so bad that I wouldn't take a stray dog there to eat. It a shame how they have reduce themselves and still expect the community to support them. But if you visit them they will let you know if you support them of not cause they rely on their history rather then what services and ribs supposed to be like. The ribs are tough and microwaves.

I have been going to Jim's for years and once in awhile I got something that was not as good as years ago, but all in all I love the food. We got chicken there last week and we are going back this week for more of the same. The people are friendly and we like the waittresses a lot.

Jim's Rib Haven has diminished in its quality the past few years. It's really sad. The employees are rude and ignore customers. The food still tastes good, but be prepared for drab surroundings and employees who act as though they are doing you a favor when serving you. I would still recommend them, but there are days when their ribs are dry, which would lower the food rating of "9," which I gave to them. Jim's is riding on its "fumes" of past great works. They will (unfortunately) be gone in this economy if the employees don't start acting like they care.
