The food at Kings Wok in Anna, IL is always on point. I love their crispy beef, lemon chicken, and coconut chicken with white rice - absolute favorites. The place might not look like much from the outside, but trust me, the food is worth it.

Kings wok is good. I wouldn't go as far as saying the best Chinese food I have ever had, but it is in the top 5. It however is the best food for the money, anywhere within an hours drive from Anna. Yes even cape girardeau, and Marion/Carbondale. The restraint is really structured towards takeout more than anything. The best part is no matter what you order when you call, its always "10 minute!" .

Good food but they need to keep the dishes fresh like white rice lot of people wont eat so it go bad cover or keep fresh on hand the day they open was good now slowly goi down hill

I'm sorry for putting my 2 cents in but it's not kings woks fault for you not being to walk right. And for your info there was always a scoop inside the ice cooler when I go there and unsanatary?! Really I'm pretty sure styrofome plates and plastic silverware are cleaner than the metal forks and plastic plates that people use all the time and gets re-washed. But this is a great place to eat. I got angry when I saw that comment

I eat there every time I am in Anna or if within 20-30 miles I make the trip. The food is "GOOOOOOOOOOOOD STUFF!!!" It can't be beat and it is recommended that everyone give it a try! You won't be disappointed!!

The owner posted some signs about watching your step so quit griping! I actually sent him some printed on HOT-Pink paper.

i have eaten a lot of Chinese food all over the country and i have to say that kings wok is my favorite. local, good people own it, and they have cheap, awesome food. definitely exceeds any of the places up around carbondale as far as quality goes. as for the old bag who's friend cannot put one foot in front of the other, i don't see how that's kings wok's problem. also if you want real silverware, pick it up and take it home. people are garbage and will complain about anything. i love kings wok!

Pretty fantastic. As for the maroon that ordered from the buffet and complained about how few dishes there were, well, order from the menu and there's about 70 different dishes you can get. And as for the tripping on the step at the door complaint, restaurants are not responsible for incompetent walkers. If you don't know how to put one foot in front of the other, maybe you should stick to Banquet dinners. But then maybe you'd have a problem with their product because your microwave didn't cook it right, or you burned your nose hairs on the steam.

My friend and I came here for the first time and was very disappointed.First, you have plastic silverware and Styrofoam plates and drinking glasses. You had to get the ice out of an igloo cooler..and no tongs in it, you had to dip your cup into it. very unsanitary...very disappointing. you also had to get your own drinks out of the stand up cooler..and the food was not that good, only had about 12 different dishes to choose from..they did have good egg rolls and crab rangoons. The rest of the food was ok, but I have eaten a lot better food in other Chinese restaurants..they did not even take your plates away when you went to get another plate of food..Then as we were leaving, my friend tripped on the step to go out the door and landed hard on the sidewalk..There was no signs up to watch your step and I had to take her to the emergency room .She banged up her knee, pulled ligaments in it and had a lot of pain with all of this.Dr.put her on strong pain pills and she had to get a walker and is not allowed to walk on her feet for 2 weeks..She had her arm and her ankle hurt also.She was swelled up really bad and black and blue...The worker told us that they had had a sign up but took it down to do something and didn't put the sign back up to watch your step.I rode past there today and there is a big sign in the door window that says Please watch your step.
I will not come here again..mainly because of the plastic silverware and foam plates etc.Please think twice before dining at this restaurant..We were hungry for Chinese or we would have gone somewhere else in town...We are very disappointed in this establishment..
