I have gone to Scott Chop Suey about eight to ten times and have had no problems, the food was great, and the service was friendly. In authentic Chinese fried rice there are onions and I am aware that Scott Chop Suey prides itself on being authentic so I applaud them on staying with their current recipe and not compromising.

I used to go there a lot until one day I asked for fried rice with no onions and was told the same thing as the previus reviewer. Then I asked for a chicken low mein and asked for less chicken and more noodles as I do not eat that much meat. I was told was not possible either. With the fried rice they already have it premixed and not possible to take the onions out. With the low mein they premessure their portions and just unfreeze the day before what they need for the next day. Once again when I asked the no onions, they said it was not possible. I was so aggravated as they have very poor customer service skills and on top of it they don't seem to care about how to accomodate their customers which does not make sense. If you are a restaurant you have to be prepared to meet different customer's preferences, specially when it comes to food.

I went there for lunch one day and ordered fried rice with no onions. I was quickly informed by the cashier that was not possible. Before this incident, I've been going to Scott Chop Suey for over 5 years and that was never a problem. I do not recommend this restaurant if you are particular about how your food is prepared, or have a special order.
