The restaurant had a cozy vibe and the staff were super friendly. The food was delicious, especially the pork and okra, and the prices were reasonable. It's definitely worth a visit for a satisfying meal.

My father was born in Cairo. As an adult, my father was a chef. Opened his BBQ in Indianapolis, IN ( Red Pig BBQ Pit...and The Island was open in 1958 in Palo Alto CA. But to me, dad's best was BBQ, which he " learned " in Cairo. Hands down great. Small place. Mom/Pop type place, not fancy, but if you want BBQ, this is it. Any time I'm going to travels the 4 hours to get there, I take about 10 orders back with me.!!

Sorry, but this is one place you should write off your list to visit. The food is bad the service is worse and the price is way to high for the small sides they offer.
