Head over to Barefoot Bar for the most amazing catfish fritters you'll ever taste - seriously, they're addictive! The relaxed riverside vibe is perfect for chilling out with a cold beer and enjoying the view. Don't expect anything fancy, just good food, friendly service, and a truly laid-back atmosphere. Trust me, you won't regret stopping by for a taste of these legendary fritters!

The BEST Chicken Livers in the Mid-West, A Great view of the River on the River, I have been there by Boat & Car, always Good service & Food !!

I selected what was indicated as a Grilled Chicken Breast dinner on the menu. What I was given was two thin processed chicken patties most likely containing unhealthy GMOs. Clearly the menu should indicate that what one is ordering is actually a processed product that does not even taste like chicken and most likely has very little chicken in its artificial ingredients. This is very fraudulent to advertise the item as a Grilled Chicken Breast on the menu. I could not eat it and took it home to my dog who eats better dog food than this synthetic piece of tripe. I have costed out menu items when I was in the restaurant business and this fake Grilled Chicken Breast dinner with its lettuce salad with 2 tiny carrot strips, 2 small pieces of tomato plus a sliver of cabbage in addition to a baked potato probably costs them $1.00 and they are charging $8.75. I will never return there nor recommend anyone who wants good quality food to go there. Basically restaurants like this who reduce the quality of food do not remain in business for very long. People are not oblivious to wasting their money.

I think this is the best place ever for the BEST fried chicken! My parents & I travel there about 2 times a month and the drive is great but the food is better. We used to go to Big Boys past Wentzville but they closed. We then tried the new Big Boys that opened and not only did the chicken come out from under heat lamps but it was very expensive for what you go. The Barefoot Restaurant in comparison was fantastic. The food ALWAYS comes to you hot & fresh and the serving staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for good hot food. And the price is always right.

A fun place to eat. The food is great, as is the view. It's a down home kind of place, nothing fancy here so be prepared for uber casual!
