Attended a wonderful wedding reception recently at the University Club in Chicago. The bartenders, Amber and Leslie, were exceptional - always quick and friendly. Kristen, the coordinator, was professional and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the night. Overall, a fantastic experience at the University Club that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great venue.

Please use caution when considering this business.

My wife is a chef and bakes cakes for weddings and special events. A personal friend decided to have her wedding reception at the University Club of Moline.

We spoke with the owners of this hall a time or two over the phone with no issues.

BUT, on the day of the reception, the owners of this business became mean and crude individuals. The bride ordered 300 cupcakes, 25 satellite cakes, a 4-tier wedding cake, and a 3-tier grooms cake and wanted them distributed throughout the 40+ guest tables set up in the hall.

The owners yelled at, berated, mistreated, and insulted my wife for two hours as she set up this expectant brides wedding cake!

I have made 10 calls over the last two weeks attempting to speak with them myself to discuss the situation and they will not answer or return my phone calls.

We will NOT do business with this hall again and will discourage every bride and customer we have to do the same.
