Valentine's has delicious food and great service, but be prepared for popular items to run out quickly - like cocktail sauce and simple drinks. Despite the fast-paced atmosphere, the staff efficiently catered to our party and ensured we had a good meal with perfectly cooked steaks and tasty appetizers.

Despite the previous reviews we have never had a bad steak at Valentine's.
Every filet mignon has been very tender, ordered medium.
I can't speak to the seating, but they may have been catering to regular customers, necessary to a local small town restaurant.
Overall, a really good place to eat when there aren't many around anymore.

We went there to celebrate the birthday of two in our group of four. The other couple arrived first and we were held up a bit by traffic as we live pretty far apart. They were told even though we had reservations they would not seat them until we were there! We arrived 5 minutes later. No parking available. By the time we were seated all the tables in the front room were seated and we had to sit in the back room. They were seating people without reservations while they stood in line waiting for us! The front room has more ambiance, low lighting etc. there were two tables for four there when the other couple arrived but since we were a few minutes late they were still seating other people. We had to sit at the tables in the back room with bright lighting and long tables for large groups. We were very disappointed. Then to add insult to injury the steaks we ordered were tough. The ladies had filet mignon which was tough (medium). My husband had strip steak. It definitely wasn't of the New York variety! My brother-in-law had the rib eye which he said was excellent. So is you order steak better make it the rib eye. My sister and I always eat filet mignon and we both said it was the worst we had ever had! The baked potato was very good as was the side salad. It was the worst birthday dinner we had ever had. We are sisters and our birthdays are one day apart, one year apart and we have always gone out to celebrate together. So it will be a bad memory for a long time! We don't live in Freeburg but one couple has passed it a couple times since and has nothing good to say about it when they pass! Someone told us they think they changed their steak supplier. Cheaper cuts I guess. Price went up from old menu we saw online.
