Awesome! Best rib-eye steak in Southern Illinois hands down. I have eaten quite a few steaks all over the Midwest and this is my favorite. I'd say it is 12-14 ounces and comes with hand cut frites, that are actually fried the correct way, twice, once to cook them and once to crisp them up and the kicker-house made ketchup. The steak itself is simple and done right, seasoned with salt and pepper only with a mound of garlic butter and guess what? their own home made Worcestershire sauce forget L&P this stuff is ridiculous good, doesn't even resemble store bought and the best thing is it was $18! They also have features each weekend and a nice every day menu. You should try them for a good steak or one of their fabulous desserts, try the creme brulee.

Chef Mark Fontana is one of the best Chefs in this area most likely the best in the area. The food at bogie's is extravagant, the service is excellent, and the prices are an exciting value for what you are served. the Chefs at bogie's are working true magic with food out there treat yourself and GO EAT

Awesome. Service was great and the food was fantastic. I had the black and white tuna and my friend had the cider brined pork chop. Staff was friendly, we were greeted and seated immediately. The chef even stopped by our table to see how everything was. Would highly recommend dinner at Bogey's!

Not sure about the previous review?? We have been going for a couple of years now and the food has always been top notch, they had some growing pains with the owners sure, but the guys that are running it now(including the chef) are doing an amazing job, they have monthly wine dinners and the best weekend features in the area. This is big city food tucked away in the hills of southern Illinois. Cheers!

Bogey's is a terrible restaurant. The owners (and new management) have no idea how to run a restaurant. The service is terrible and the food is not high quality--a dining experience there leaves much to be desired. They may claim to be a fine dining restaurant, buy they are FAR from it.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste money on a meal at Bogey's.
