During a recent trip, we stopped for lunch and found the atmosphere inviting and the service friendly. Although there was a mix-up with our order, the meals were well-prepared and satisfying, making the experience enjoyable overall. The restaurant offers a variety of options at reasonable prices, and the staff's attentiveness contributed to a pleasant dining experience.

During a stop for lunch, I found the service and food to be excellent at a quaint restaurant with a hometown feel, despite a small hiccup with my order, and I appreciated the spacious and clean restroom facilities.

My family and I were traveling through Illinois to Wisconsin. We stopped in Rochelle to spend the night. A local suggested The Butterfly. When we first pulled up I thought oh no...it was pretty empty,only 2 other customers, but it was 8:30. They closed at 9:00. I asked if they could accommodate us...a party of 6 (my family and my parents). They were very friendly, reassured us it was perfectly fine. The food was AWESOME!! Large portions, hot and fresh. Ribs fell off the bone...chicken came to my table sizzling! The dumplings were like grandmas..and I fed my family of 4 for under 40.00 dollars! The staff was VERY kind and helpful, the atmosphere was nice, salad bar fresh, clean environment. Two other tables filled up as we ate and they welcomed them just as kindly as us. I would recommend this restaurant to others!

Our neighbors in Winfield, next to Wheaton love Butterfly. However, sinc ethey have no web site, I am skeptical. I want to see the menu and some interior pics. We have a family function and want to plan. Butterfly needs to get into the 21stCentury as far as marketing their business.
