Today I visited a local restaurant for breakfast and was pleased with the friendly service provided by the staff. The menu offered a diverse selection and the generous portions of food were satisfying. I look forward to returning when I'm in town again for another enjoyable dining experience.

A great little restaurant and adjoining Bar. Family owned & ran , they treat you like family also. Large portions, great selections from Italian to Steaks & one of a kind Fried Chicken dinners. Comfort type foods as well. Meatloaf, every type sandwich you've ever heard of and Easily the Best Taco Salad in an incredible edible bowl. Open even on Holidays so don't cook . Try the Kettle instead...you'll be glad you did!!!â¤ï¸

I come into Gibson city about three times a year (my hometown). Then Kettle has always provide a good service with great food. Never disappointed.

One of the best meals I have had! Customer service was exceptional, and the owners are such wonderful people:) My family and I will be coming back for sure.

Went to eat at Gibson City's Country Kettle tonight 03/02/2020. It was the worst service EVER. We arrived at 5:05. There were around 7 or 8 tables occupied. We sat down. Around 5:15 a waitress asked what we wanted to drink. Then a different waitress came and asked what we wanted to drink. About ten minutes later a third waitress came and asked us what we wanted to drink. We finally got our drinks, after asking about them, at 5:35. We finally had our order taken. At 6:00 we had to ask when our soup and salad would be brought out. The disorganization of the wait staff was ridiculous. Yes they did get busy but there were three waitresses working. One or two more were called in. Another one eating there stepped in to help. My husband did complain to our waitress when she got the empty salad plate and the soup cup. The soup was cold so my husband sent it back. It came back Luke warm. The waitress was really snippy with him. She was clearly in a bad mood. I'm would not be surprised if she broke dishes the way she slammed them into the dish pan. We'd been there over an hour by now. Other people who came in way after us were waited on right away and got there food within 15 minutes. A family next to us waited over a half hour to be waited on. Finally a waitress who had been called in came to our table and said "here's the thing, your ticket got lost." I truly believe that was BS. I think the waitress took it down because she was so po'd that my husband asked about our food, starting with the soup and salad. We left after the waitress told us we didn't have to pay for anything. I don't think my husband will ever eat there again. I probably will because I meet various friends there every week or so. But I will definitely be talking to the owners who were not there tonight.
