Very friendly employees. Had the "very best" BBQ Pulled pork & great sweet potato waffle fries. Will look forward in returning here

went there for a drink and lunch went inside were welcomed by how many we said can we sit at bar and have a drink first waiter ok but you can not eat at bar we said thats fine sat down and there were 3 bartenders talking among themselves (not one person sitting at the bar ) after about probably waiting 5 minutes no one would wait on us we went some were else (

This is one of the best restaurants in Galena. I live in California and when I get back to Chicago make sure we take a ride to Durty Gurt's. There Thick Boozey Shakes go very well with any thing on the menu.Every thing is so fresh and I love there homemade soups. It is very clean and everyone goes out of there way to make you feel at home. They remember us every time we go back to visit.

I LOVE this place! My husband and I are repeat customers. We have enjoyed the burgers, Reuben's, Italian beef, Ribs, fish specials, and home made soups. The service is fast and friendly every time. The old fashioned shakes and malts are a special treat we can't resist. This is a place that offers great food (and plenty of it) for a great price.

Found HAIR in food. Told waitres. Owner questioned me. Did not apologize. Parting words from owner "I will not charge you for YOUR sandwich because you were upset." Any reputable restaurant would have been apologetic and without question not charge you if you were upset or not upset." Not professional AT ALL how situation was handled.
