The food at El Faros is always a solid choice with good prices. I've been a regular for over two decades and the authenticity is still there, though sometimes communication can be a challenge. The steak burritos are the best, and the overall experience is worth coming back for, especially for the affordable lunch and dinner options.

I'll drive to Elgin just to go to El Faro. Best authentic mexican food!!
Wish there was one open between Elgin and Aurora.
