This local spot is a favorite among the community, despite its unassuming appearance. The food may not be visually impressive, served in simple containers, but the flavors are authentic and freshly prepared. I recommend trying the lunch buffet for great value and quality Chinese cuisine that exceeds expectations.

First time at Full Moon.The food is not good. Do yourself a favor eat Chinese someplace else in Benton. I'm surprised it can pass a health department inspection, in the kitchen I could see brown grease on walls, missing floor tiles everywhere and floors looked so dirty. Dining tables are covered with smeared greasy plexiglass. I do not like to slam someone trying to make a living, but there is so much room for improvement the owner should make.

Full Moon House has the best quality chinese food in the greater southern Illinois area, in my opinion. I have found none better. I like buffets because of wider choices, but Full Moon House quality is so exquisite that often I will choose it over a buffet. I prefer to eat in. Unfortunately, they do not have eat in now due to covid 19, but I still do carry out and enjoy it immensely.
