We stumbled upon El Coco Loco while looking for a spot to grab dinner after my daughter's sports game. The place seemed to have a fresh vibe, perhaps due to a recent change in ownership or a renovation. Despite the bustling atmosphere on half price margarita night, we were seated promptly and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The molcajete supremo was a standout dish, recommended by our server, and my daughter's taco salad and husband's chimichanga were equally satisfying. It may be a bit of a drive for us, but the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere make it worth the occasional visit.

The food was good as always, but the service was horrible. When we went in, no one would make eye contact to greet or take our name for a table. They were busy, but the woman behind the counter snapped at me when I asked if they had a wait list, the man taking names just ignored me. We eventually got seated and ate, after which we received no bill, so when I went up to pay I was told I had to go find my server to get it. We had our order taken, drinks brought, food brought and second drinks brought by 4 different people so I had no idea who that might be. I was dealing with the same woman as before and she got visibly huffy about having to get my bill.
She was the most RUDE person I have ever encountered.

Good food ! Great Drinks!
Bad - not open late enough on weekends!!! Closes at 9-10pm. Need later hours on weekends! At least til 11-12pm.
