When I visit Carlinville to see family, I always make it a point to dine at The Wood Duck. The bar menu offers delicious options at very reasonable prices, especially with rising food costs. Whether it's the steak sandwich, wings, burgers, or daily specials, my friends and I have always been satisfied with the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere of the bar.

My daughter and I love to go in and have the Mountain. The people there are so friendly and helpful. It is our favorite place!!!

Guess they're prima donnas in the restaurant business!! Toooooooo busy and REFUSED to take a phone order for pickup. Must be nice to have all the money and business you need in this business climate!! Never again for that place.

Every time I go in there I feel like the staff are my best friends, so kind and friendly. The food is always amazing. I would highly recommend the cheese curds and my favorite sandwich is the western burger. The fries are always cooked to perfection.
