I'm always amazed at how consistently great this restaurant is, even though I live in the Springfield area, I don't mind the drive to dine here because of the fantastic quality, reasonable prices, and the friendly service they offer. The Walleye dinners on Fridays are a must-try, and the breakfast options are just as delightful. The staff, especially Larry and his team, are incredibly welcoming, accommodating even to my husband's service dog, Comet, and always provide excellent service with fresh specials daily. The Mushroom and Swiss chopped beef and the Wisconsin cheesy potato soup are personal favorites, and the variety of dishes, from tacos to pastas, never disappoint.

Food has always been great, portions are good, staff is very friendly, since the up grades/improvements it is even better. Great place all around to get a sandwich or full meal. Daily specials are good also, very clean environment. Well lighted, you can actually read a menu with out need of flash light like other places.
