The full bar and restaurant features friendly staff who truly care about their customers. I had the steak sandwich, which was so delicious that I finished it before remembering to take a picture, and my wife enjoyed the bluegill and waffle fries, praising their freshness and perfect cooking. Despite being a bit short-staffed, the bartender worked diligently to ensure everyone was well taken care of, making our experience even more enjoyable.

Heard your restaurant had great fried chicken, so we drove down on Sunday. Informed you only serve sandwiches on Sunday, but to come back early on Wednesday by 5:00 or so for 1/2 chicken. Waitress warned us you sometimes sell out.
As it was my birthday, we returned at 5:05 today only to be told you had already sold out to people who call in their orders.
I think this is totally unfair. You should patronize the people who take the time to drive to have your specialty food for them. If customers show up and you have run out in five minutes, then that is poor customer relations and evidently poor planning by the owner not to purchase adequate food. I can understand if it were about 7:30pm and you ran out, but not 5 minutes after you open. There was only one waitress and I had to ask for drink refills. She hinted she needed us to leave since you had a party of 12 coming in for chicken and you had been holding their order and needed our table!!!
If you call Bergners and make an inquiry, they tell you they have customers and will call you back. That is the RIGHT thing to do--take care of the customers in front of you.
Your lack of food and poor service made for a sad birthday and unfortunately, we will have to keep looking for businesses who can accommodate their on-site customers.
