During a recent drive from Springfield to Chicago, my family and I decided to take a break and explore a different dining option instead of fast food. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm service and a diverse menu that catered well to both adults and children. The ambiance, featuring fire department decor, added a unique charm to our experience, making it memorable and enjoyable for everyone.

My wife and I just got home from Station 343,(9:00 pm Friday night) I am excited to write this review. When we entered the restaurant (for the 1st time) The hostess (Jan) was anxious to please. Being it was our 1st visit she let us check out the entire dining room and then let us make our pick where to be seated. Our waiter (Andrew), what a ball of fire he was. His energy is remarkable. His service is outstanding. The food was delicious, I ordered spaghetti and Italian sausage it was the best sausage I ever ate. My wife had tilapia and double baked potato. It also was delicious. The bartender knows his business as well, I didn't catch his name but his mixed drinks are made the way you expect them to be. When Andrew brought the bill to the table I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. The atmosphere is very comfortable. the furniture, fixtures, lighting,and decoration is very inviting. It was a real fill at home experience. For those of you who care I saw Jeans, pony tails, dress shirts, work boots, and high hills.

We celebrated Father's Day there on the Sat. Evening before and everyone had a delicious dinner . All staff was pleasant and attentive. Very enjoyable experience. Will return. Great find .
