Chubby's in Macomb has some delicious food. I really enjoyed the brisket tacos and the spicy fried chicken sandwich. The bulgogi special was also really tasty. Our server, Tyler, was great and recommended the ribs, which were fantastic. I'll definitely be going back to Chubby's for more good eats.

Chubbys is one of Macomb's newer restaurants. The building is a converted house, kinda funky, but not at all fancy or elegant. This is a place you can wear your old bluejeans and a t-shirt (of course, I think I can wear that about anywhere). Not too noisy, but it is a little echoey, and they have several TVs going, usually tuned to sports channels. The food is good. I tend to get a burger with gorgonzola cheese or the Caribbean chicken sandwich, but my wife regularly orders Grillys or other items. Their homemade potato chips are not to be missed.
This is not a "kid-oriented" place, but would be fine to bring your kids. Just doesn't have playrooms etc. - this is a restaurant with food. Also a bar. I can't drink alcohol, so can't comment on that, but they do offer things like a Leinenkugel's vanilla porter! Definitely a place we keep returning to.
