The whiskey burger I ordered from GrubHub was exceptional, and I was pleasantly surprised by the upscale atmosphere at Flame Grill & Bar, which has taken over from the former Murphy's. My husband and I enjoyed a variety of dishes, including flavorful seafood pasta and perfectly cooked steaks, all served with attentive care from our server, Robert, who truly enhanced our dining experience. Whether celebrating a special occasion or just stopping by, the service and food quality make this restaurant worth the drive.

Great food and service. Really enjoyed setting outside on the patio. All covid guidelines seemed to be followed.

Though we were warned by others and have read the online reviews, we tried to the Flame anyway. Much like the other online reviews, we found ourselves over paying for boring food and bad service. Even with reservations we waited 30 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was not pleasant, nor attentive. Food was bland and didn't seem fresh at all. There was not one employee there that seemed happy, including who we later found out was the actual owner. Our out of state guests were not impressed at all. It's a shame Carbondale doesn't have any decent restaurants anymore. Our choices are chain places and places like this, that just don't care.

Sunday brunch is amazing! Monday crab legs are also amazing. My husband and I have had great customer service every time we come. The food is reasonably priced and there is a good selection. They usually have a drink special or a sale glass of wine, which is a perk. The owner is usually there making sure everyone has good customer service. The patio is beautiful and we enjoy eating outside.
