Really enjoyed the food. Ate here with the previous owners , and I am happy to say the new owners have lowered the price for the lunch menu. Excellent dining experience.

I've lived in San Francisco, Florida, Seattle and Chicago. I'm a sushi snob. Since moving out to the outer realms of civilization any thought to finding credible sushi was quickly dismissed. Then I lost a game of rock, paper, scissors... the victor chose dinner at Haru of Japan which had opened weeks before. Damn, I loathe being wrong. It was amazing. But still I held doubt in my heart. Of course they'd put their best foot forward, the true test would come over the next few years. Lemme tell ya, I've diligently frequented this establishment in a vain attempt to catch them on a bad day. Never once. Time and again I've had impeccable service, incredibly fresh sushi, and a place that I have raved about to all and sundry. Then a year or so ago, the owners sat me down and told me they were selling the business. My heart was broken, I was absolutely devastated. I didn't go in for nearly 6 months. Then, with great trepidation, I stopped in for lunch. Just me. Gah! So good. Time and again the quality held true. Over the last few months, the interior has gone through a little metamorphosis. Little tweaks have greatly improved the ambiance and mood of the dining area. The staff is friendly, efficient and quick to engage. This is our go to for special occasions or the average Tuesday. I cannot recommend them enough
